Each year, the Houston Area Parkinson Society (HAPS) hosts a FREE full-day educational event for individuals living with Parkinson's disease, their caregivers, family members, friends and the general public. It provides the most up to date information about the disease, presented by local and national experts in the field.
'Beyond Shaking and Slowness: Understanding the other symptoms of Parkinson's' will include presentations such as REM: Really Elusive Mechanisms of Good Sleep in Parkinson's Disease, The Eyes and Parkinson's Disease: Putting Things in Perspective, Sexuality and PD: 50 Shades of Greatness and more!
