Alzheimer's Texas and Stoney Brook present the 6th Annual Alzheimer's Symposium on Friday, April 27.
Join in for an impactful and educational event where you will learn hands-on techniques and effective tips for improving quality of life for caregivers and care recipients.
This year's presentations include:
- Stephen Catoe, certified positive approach to care trainer, validation therapy certified worker, and Alzheimer's Texas care consultant and educator
- Leah Cohen, LCSW, ACSW,CCM, CNG,CTXG, owner of arrangeCARE
- "The Virtual Dementia Tour" - provided by Silverado Memory Care, this tour allows participants to experience the overwhelming effects of trying to perform everyday tasks for a person living with memory loss. Tours must be prescheduled.
This event is FREE to attend. Light breakfast and box lunch will be provided.
