Fort Bend Regional Council (FBRC) on Substance Abuse, Inc. presents the Eighth Annual Helen Cordes Award Dinner sponsored by Haynes and Boone on Thursday, February 23 at Sugar Creek Country Club.
The evening will honor Ann and Jeff Council and feature Olympic medalist, Dotsie Bausch, as guest speaker. Bausch has transitioned in full stride from professional athlete to influential advocate and a leading voice in sports technology, health, wellness and animal rights.
All funds raised benefit FBRC’s programs for adults and youth who are impacted by alcohol and drug abuse. Proceeds are used to further efforts to restore families and break the cycle of addiction, as well as help students in Fort Bend County build coping skills so they won’t fall victim to substance abuse.
