Capital Area Halal Festival

Capital Area Halal Festival
The Council on American-Islamic Relations - Austin (CAIR-Austin) is collaborating with the City of Austin’s Asian American Resource Center for the first Capital Area Halal Festival on Saturday, December 7.
Austin is made stronger (and tastier!) by the different communities that call Austin home. Muslim neighbors collectively represent an incredibly diverse group of cultures, languages, traditions, and of course, cuisines. What better way to appreciate the beauty of that diversity than with a celebration of food, art, culture and tradition.
The first Capital Area Halal Festival features local vendors and artisans offering authentic cuisines, unique arts and crafts, cultural experiences and more. Join in breaking roti/khubz/ekmek/naan with your Muslim neighbors at this family friendly event!
This event is FREE to attend and open to the public. RSVP is preferred. To register, please visit here.
