Join the TMF Health Quality Institute on Thursday, July 15 for "Seniors Better Prepared for Hurricanes and Other Emergencies with the Red Cross."
An emergency can be anticipated, such as a hurricane, or unanticipated, such as a home fire. Advanced planning can help when managing the individual responses to these emergencies.
This session will present three steps with practical suggestions for seniors to be better prepared. The Hurricane Maria experience in Puerto Rico and the lessons learned are included. Doctor Ylda Farré-Rigau, retired professor at the University of Puerto Rico and a volunteer with the American Red Cross, Puerto Rico Chapter, will be the guest speaker for this session.
This event is FREE to attend and will be held virtually via Webex. Register here.
