The United Way Interagency Network Meeting held every month on the second Thursday highlights a variety of community resources and offers social service professionals a valuable opportunity to network with the organizations that provide these services.
The Interagency's purpose is to enhance access to health and human services through networking, education and problem solving.
This month's topic is "Child Abuse & Sexual Assault Awareness" featuring Karen Kennard, director of training and education at the Children Assessment Center; and Geoffrey Ball, MBA, LCDCC, CHW, substance abuse disorder outreach program, The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD.
