Counseling & Support Groups

The group meets every month on the second Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Baylor Scott and White Institute for Rehabilitation in the visitors lounge.

This support group offers support, education to stroke survivors, their family and caregivers. They provide a welcoming environment that encourages learning, outreach, emotional support, dialogue, guidance and counseling.

Their agenda varies and includes topics such as nutrition, recovery, fundamental/practical advice, support resources, self confidence, getting back to work and driving.
