People from all walks of life came together for Arthritis Foundation’s 2018 Jingle Bell Run—the original festive race for charity—held in Sugar Land and The Woodlands.
The inaugural Sugar Land Jingle Bell Run was a great success surpassing its fundraising goal and bringing in over $60,000 for the Arthritis Foundation’s mission on Saturday, December 1. Over 600 were in attendance including people impacted by arthritis, the medical community and local Sugar Land residents. All participants received a finisher medal as they crossed a snowy finish line.
Despite rainy weather, The Woodlands Jingle Bell Run welcomed over 1,000 participants and raised $118,000 for the Arthritis Foundation’s mission on Saturday, December 8. Steve Pear, CEO of Cheribundi, the national Jingle Bell Run sponsor, was in attendance and kicked off the race. Local honorees included Dr. Eric Price of Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, youth honoree Chad Cockrill and adult honoree Dana Griffin.
The Senior Resource Guide was a proud sponsor of this event.
