After being held virtually last year, the 2021 Aging Well Expo made its successful return to in person on September 27 at the Lakeway Activity Center.
Hosted by LT Senior Services and Alzheimer's Texas, the event welcomed over 100 attendees and featured complimentary lunch provided by Arbor Terrace Lakeway; goody bags with copies of the Senior Resource Guide and other items from vendors, speakers and sponsors; flu shots available from Liberty Pharmacy; and a plethora of fantastic door prizes.
This year's event featured the following speakers and topics:
- "Medicare Info for 2022" presented by Scott Gidley, Charitable Financial Services
- "The Secrets of Aging Well" presented by Wesley Ogles, Fit Mindset
- "Products that Make Everyday Tasks Easier" presented by Jana Cartlidge from Enabled Living
Following the Expo, the 50+ Job Fair welcomed individuals looking for full- and part-time job opportunities to interact with local employers.
