With double the number of registrants compared to recent years, the Alzheimer's Association Positive Caregiving: Ways to Build Resilience Caregiver Conference was a huge success.
Gathering both virtually and in person at United Way of Greater Houston on June 23, 2022, attendees learned how to cultivate optimism, improve inner strength, build support systems, and be more resilient in the face of transitions and challenges.
Topics covered included "Managing Money," "How to Improve Resilience in Caregiving," "Music and Movement," and "After Party Rhythm and Resilience." Complimentary copies of the Senior Resource Guide and a boxed lunch were also provided.
On top of the event being helpful and informative, there was even a fun dance party when the conference concluded.
Great thanks to the event sponsors, which included Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, Brookdale Senior Living and Legacy Community Health.
