The 2022 AWARE Affair gave guests something truly memorable to talk about as they supported the fight against Alzheimer's on April 8, 2022.

The “Soaring to New Heights” gala generated quite the buzz being held at the Star Skyline airport hangar at the Braniff Centre. Guests were greeted by a purple Bentley, provided by sponsor Bentley Dallas, as tribute to the internationally recognized color that symbolizes Alzheimer’s awareness.

Among the notable bunch of guests were honorary chairs Biddie and Lee Roy Jordan, presenting sponsor William Seanor, AWARE president Karisti Julia, emcee Scott Murray, and Amy Osler Spirit of Education Leadership Award honoree Dr. Cindy Marshall.

Chaired by Mari Epperson and Sharon Ballew, the inspiring event featured a cocktail reception; a spirited live auction with extravagant items such as a Dallas to Napa HALL experience, a Monarch chef experience and celebration for 10, a Bisbee's Black & Blue fishing expedition and more; a silent auction; seated dinner; and entertainment by The Roof Raisers. The evening also included a display of vintage Braniff flight attendant uniforms, golf putting station, and photo booth fun.

Since being founded, AWARE has raised over $14 million in support of its fight against Alzheimer's. All funds raised from the AWARE Affair stay in Dallas. To see the 2021-2022 grant recipients, visit here.
