A mix of over 100 healthcare professionals, city representatives and community members convened on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 for EDUCARE Inc.’s Bridge Building Network's Path to Compassionate Cultural Care for Aging LGBTQ+.
This first-time educational event featured an all-day workshop, panel discussion and viewing of the documentary film "Gen Silent." Attendees walked away with greater knowledge on the issues faced by older LGBTQ+ adults and how to better care for them as they age.
The Senior Resource Guide was a proud sponsor of EDUCARE Inc.’s Bridge Building Network's Path to Compassionate Cultural Care for Aging LGBTQ+ and provided free copies of the Guide to attendees at their booth.
