Survivorship Night in Katy
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center recognized National Cancer Survivor Month during its inaugural Survivorship Night event in Katy on June 11, 2016.
LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch was aglow in purple and green lighting to celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and caregivers throughout the Katy community. Hundreds of guests enjoyed live music, glow necklaces, complimentary souvenir photos and educational materials from MD Anderson staff who were onsite to visit with attendees and join the celebration.
The event also featured the Strike Through Cancer Wall where guests were able to write messages of inspiration and remembrance.
