Move over fairy godmothers, there’s a new wish granter in town! Senior Resource Guide is bringing smiles to the hearts of local seniors with the launch of a new initiative, Wave A Wand.
“Our seniors have spent most of life caring for others and granting wishes for their children and grandchildren. How wonderful that we have the opportunity to pay it forward with this initiative,” says Karyn Dean, publisher of Senior Resource Guide.
Seniors can submit a wish for anything—a day of relaxation at a spa, a cruise to the Bahamas, a loving pet—whatever the wish, the Senior Resource Guide wants to hear it! Starting July 2015, Texas seniors who are 65 years and older are encouraged to submit their wishes or have family, friends or others submit their wishes for them online at srgserv.com/waveawand.
Three seniors will be selected to have their wishes granted. The winners will be announced in December 2015 on Senior Resource Guide’s facebook page at facebook.com/srgtx.
Wave A Wand t-shirts and wands are available for purchase. Organizations and/or individuals who purchase a minimum of 10 t-shirts will be recognized as a “proud supporter” and featured in promotions.
