UT Health Physicians - Medical Arts & Research Center - MARC 8300 Floyd Curl Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78229
Join UT Health San Antonio, School of Nursing every second Thursday of the month for an Essentials of Caregiving class. These classes are focused on providing support and tools to caregivers as they care for a loved one living with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's or related dementia.
July's topic will be "Understanding a Diagnosis of Alzheimer's." Hosted by the UT Health School of Nursing's Caring for the Caregiver Program, this session is a supportive and safe environment where you can openly share your concerns and questions about an Alzheimer's or dementia diagnosis. Caregivers can learn more about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, discuss current treatments and other strategies for care from group facilitators and other caregivers.
These workshops are FREE to attend and parking and refreshments will be provided. Registration is required here. To see the flier, please visit here.
