The United Way Interagency Network Meeting held every month on the second Thursday highlights a variety of community resources and offers social service professionals a valuable opportunity to network with the organizations that provide these services. August's event will be held virtually!
The Interagency's purpose is to enhance access to health and human services through networking, education and problem solving.
August's topic is "Public Education During COVID-19" featuring Dustin Rynders, supervising attorney of the Education Team at Disability Rights Texas; Grenita Lathan, interim superintendent at Houston Independent School District; and Dr. Rick Cruz, chief strategy and innovation officer at Houston Independent School District.
