Belmont Village Lakeway
The much-anticipated Belmont Village Lakeway opened with plenty of fanfare June 23-24, 2018 with more than 400 people in attendance and remarks by State Rep. Paul Workman and Lakeway Mayor Sandy Cox.
Attendees toured the vibrant new senior living community and its amenities, learned about Belmont Village’s premier programs and services, listened to live music by the New Evangeline Quartet and enjoyed a taste of Belmont Village, specially prepared by its award-winning chefs.
This is Houston-based Belmont’s 28th community, its fifth in Texas and second in the Austin area.
“We’re excited to be expanding our footprint in Austin, and very pleased to be able to provide another much-needed, top-quality option for area residents,” says Patricia Will, Belmont Village founder and CEO.
Belmont Village Lakeway offers options for independent living, assisted living and an acclaimed memory care program, all in a 130,000-square-foot Mediterranean-style building on 10 wooded acres offering studio, one- and two-bedroom floor plans. Its amenities include a professionally managed fitness center, heated saltwater pool, full-service salon, movie screening room, chef-prepared dining, housekeeping and transportation services, and courtyards with outdoor dining patios and gardens.
Each Belmont Village community is purpose-built and licensed to provide the highest level of care throughout the building, offering flexibility for residents if their needs change and allowing couples with differing needs to stay together. A licensed nurse is on-site 24/7.
Clint Strickland, executive director of Belmont Village Lakeway, says: “One of the primary goals at Belmont Village Senior Living is to create a place that fosters a sense of independence in each of our residents, no matter where they are in life. A place where getting older isn’t the end of the road, it’s a new opportunity.”
